William Hongsong Wang
Dr. William Hongsong Wang is Associate Professor of Political Economy at Universidad Europea de Madrid, where he also serves as Director of the Master’s Degree in International Trade and Economic Relations. He also teaches at Saint Louis University’s Madrid Campus. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Economics of the Austrian School from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
His research focuses on the history of economic thought, economic history, entrepreneurship, public policy, and energy economics, with particular attention to Austrian economics and its applications to contemporary economic and institutional questions. His academic work has appeared in international journals and edited volumes, and he has also contributed research and policy analysis to think tanks and international organizations.
Dr. Wang is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and an alumnus of Mises University (2017 and 2018). He has been a contributor to the Mises Institute since 2017, writing on Austrian economics, economic history, political economy, and public policy.
